How it works

Scope and limits

  • Only the visible lines are drawn, so logs of tens of megabytes scroll smoothly. Files over 50 MB are not opened.
  • UTF-8, UTF-16 and Korean legacy encoding (EUC-KR/CP949) are detected automatically. If characters look garbled, choose the encoding yourself.
  • Lines containing words such as ERROR, WARN, INFO or DEBUG are treated as log levels, colored, and can be filtered by level.
  • Read-only: nothing is edited or saved. Files over 5,000 lines are shown one line per row without wrapping, and lines over 4,000 characters are cut.

FAQ

Is my log file uploaded?

No. The file is processed only in this browser and never leaves it, so even sensitive server logs can be opened safely.

Korean text looks garbled.

Older Windows Notepad files are often saved as EUC-KR (CP949). If auto-detection is wrong, choose EUC-KR in the encoding menu.

Can I see only the error lines?

Yes. Turn on only "Error" in the log level buttons. You can also search for a word and turn on "Show only matching lines".
