CSV Viewer – Open Online, No Install
Open CSV and TSV files as a table. If characters look garbled, pick the encoding yourself. Files are processed only in this browser and are never uploaded.
How it works
- 01Drop a fileDrag and drop it, or use the choose-file button.
- 02The format is detectedWe read the extension and take you to the right viewer.
- 03It opens in your browserNothing goes through a server, and the file is not stored.
Scope and limits
- The delimiter (comma, semicolon, tab, pipe) and encoding (UTF-8, EUC-KR, UTF-16) are detected automatically and can be changed.
- Click a column title to sort (numeric columns sort by value); search shows only rows that match in any column.
- Only visible rows are drawn, so files with hundreds of thousands of rows can open, but very large files may not open depending on device memory. Files over 80 MB are not opened.
- Read-only: no cell editing, formulas or saving.
FAQ
Korean text looks garbled.
Korean CSV files are often saved as EUC-KR (CP949) instead of UTF-8. The encoding is detected automatically; if it is still wrong, choose EUC-KR in the encoding menu.
Is my CSV uploaded?
No. Everything stays in this browser.
Can I open Excel (.xlsx) files?
This viewer is for CSV and TSV only. Use the Excel viewer for .xlsx files.
